Will it fit my tap?

Clearstream Element fits most standard kitchen taps.

Four adaptors are included, and installation is tool-free. If your tap has a removable aerator, compatibility is rarely an issue.

Not sure which adaptor you need? Follow our step-by-step guide to find the right fit. Our support team is also happy to help before or after purchase.

What's included?

Everything you need to get started.

Starter Plus (1 Year Supply)
• Stainless steel Clearstream Element body
• 2 replacement filters (~6 months each)
• Full tap adaptor kit (M24 internal, M22 & M24 external, plus universal adaptor)

Complete Set (2 Year Supply)
• Stainless steel Clearstream Element body
• 4 replacement filters (~6 months each)
• Full tap adaptor kit (M24 internal, M22 & M24 external, plus universal adaptor)

Installation is tool-free and takes under a minute. No plumber required.

What does it cost over time? 💰

The Complete Set includes 4 filters — that's up to 2 years of filtered water for $179. That works out to less than $0.25 a day.

Compare that to bottled water ($500+ a year) or filter jug cartridges ($80–120 a year plus the hassle of refilling).

When it's time to replace, single filters are $39.95 or grab a 3-pack for $99.99. Most households replace every 3 to 6 months depending on usage.

The Element pays for itself in under 4 months vs bottled water.

Built to last 🏆

Solid stainless steel housing protects the filter and is built for years of daily use. No plastic body, no flimsy parts.

The activated carbon system helps reduce chlorine taste, odour, and common tap-water impurities from the moment you turn the tap on.

Simple, durable, and designed to last.

What changes from day one 💧

Most people notice the difference from the first glass. The chlorine taste and smell that makes tap water unpleasant to drink is reduced the moment you turn on the tap.

Your coffee and tea taste cleaner. Your household actually drinks from the tap instead of avoiding it. No more bottles, no more jugs, no more waiting.

Clear water isn't clean water

How Clearstream Element Helps With Your Water

Chlorine & Chemical Byproducts

Reduces chlorine taste and odour from treated tap water, along with common disinfection byproducts. Improves overall drinking and cooking water quality while keeping naturally occurring minerals intact.

PFAS (Forever Chemicals)

Reduces exposure to certain PFAS compounds through activated carbon adsorption. These persistent synthetic chemicals can be present at trace levels in treated tap water.

Fluoride

Reduces fluoride levels through activated carbon interaction. The filter is not a dedicated fluoride-removal system, but helps lower fluoride while retaining naturally occurring minerals.

Microplastics

Reduces microplastics and fine particulate matter carried through household plumbing. Improves water clarity and reduces microscopic debris before it reaches your glass.

Pesticides & Agricultural Residues

Reduces trace pesticide residues and agricultural contaminants that can enter tap water through runoff or groundwater sources.

Heavy Metals (Lead, Mercury, Cadmium)

Reduces certain heavy metals including lead, mercury, and cadmium that can leach from older plumbing. Supports safer everyday drinking water at typical household levels.

Sediment & Rust

Reduces rust, sand, and sediment from aging pipes. Improves water clarity and helps protect taps and household appliances from particle buildup.

Hydrocarbons & VOCs

Reduces certain volatile organic compounds and hydrocarbons associated with industrial and urban sources. Improves taste, odour, and overall water quality.

Pharmaceutical Residues & Organic Pollutants

Reduces trace pharmaceutical residues and organic pollutants that can remain after municipal treatment. Supports cleaner, better-tasting water.

Will it fit my tap?

Clearstream Element fits most standard kitchen taps. Four adaptors are included, and installation is tool-free. If your tap has a removable aerator, compatibility is rarely an issue.

Not sure? Get in touch before or after purchase and we'll help get you sorted.

Are your products easy to install?

Yes. Most Clearstream products are designed for simple, tool-free installation. Installation details and compatibility information are provided on each product page.

Will it reduce my water pressure?

No. The Clearstream Element maintains normal water pressure. You won't notice any difference in flow rate.

How do I know when to replace the filter?

You'll notice when it's time. Common signs include a change in taste, slower flow, or the filter looking visibly dirty. Most households replace every 3 to 6 months depending on usage and water quality.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. The Clearstream Element body comes with a 12 month warranty covering manufacturing defects. Replacement filters are consumables and are not covered under warranty.

Can I take it with me if I move?

Yes. The Element threads on by hand and removes just as easily. No permanent changes to your tap. Take it with you when you move, no landlord issues.

Is this better than buying bottled water?

A 1.5L bottle of water costs around $2 in New Zealand. If your household buys even a few bottles a week, it adds up fast. The Clearstream Element gives you filtered water straight from the tap for a fraction of the cost, with no plastic waste.

Is the filtration certified?

Yes. The Clearstream Element uses NSF/ANSI certified filtration at 0.5 microns, filtering particles 100x smaller than a human hair.
